Check the agent who called you.

Anyone who sells you life insurance has to be licensed in your state, and that license is a public record. Two steps, and the answer comes from your state — not from us.

Check any agent's license

This works for anyone who called you, whether or not they're listed on this site.

Sent a link by an advisor? Open that instead — it goes straight to their page. Or look them up here:

What this site is, and isn't

Being listed here proves nothing on its own. The proof is the state record we point you to.

We send you to the state, not around it

Every profile gives you the license number the advisor reported and a direct link to your own state's official lookup. You confirm it there, not here.

We don't verify anyone

License details on this site are supplied by the advisor. We don't check them and we don't vouch for anybody. If a page here disagrees with your state's record, believe your state.

Nothing is sold here

No prices, no applications, no quotes. This site doesn't sell you a policy and doesn't quote one.

How it works

Most people get here because an advisor texted them a link at the start of a call.

Step one

They send you a link

Your advisor texts you their page before or during the call.

Step two

You see who they are

Their photo, their background, the license number they hold in your state, and the carriers they work with.

Step three

You check it with the state

One tap to your state insurance department. If the name and the number don't match, you know.

    Check license Call

    Get your own advisor page.

Give the people you call a straight answer to a fair question: who is this, and are they licensed here? One link, sent at the start of every call, that sends them to their own state's records.

    Request your page

    How it works for agents

One page, one link, sent at the start of every call.

    Step one

    Send us your info

Your name, a headshot, the carriers you write, your producer number, and your state licenses with numbers — it's all on your NIPR PDB report.

    Step two

    We build your page

whosmyadvisor.com/your-name, with a state checker that shows the real license number you hold in whichever state the client lives in.

    Step three

    Text it on every call

Clients see who you are, check your license with their own state, and can ask you to call them back.

This is a draft, not legal advice. Have an attorney review it — especially anything in [brackets] — before you rely on it or link to it as an official policy.

    What we collect

Just browsing this site, we don't collect anything beyond the ordinary web request data any site receives, and we don't use cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers.

If you request a call back, we collect your name, the phone number you provide, and the exact wording, version, and time of the consent you gave. Your browser also sends the page you were on and its user agent string; we add your IP address and country ourselves, on our server, at the moment you submit — not something your browser hands over on its own.

    How we use it

A call-back request is sent once, straight to the advisor whose page you were on. We don't keep a copy of it ourselves after it's sent, and we don't use it for marketing, analytics, or anything beyond that one delivery.

Your mobile number and any mobile opt-in consent you give will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. It is used only so the advisor whose page you were on can call or text you back.

    Who sees it

Only the advisor whose page you submitted the request on, and the system they use to receive callback requests. We host this site and run the form through Netlify, which sees your submission in order to forward it. Google serves the two fonts used on this page — a routine request your browser makes directly to Google, not to us. We do not sell or share your information with anyone else.

    How long we keep it

We don't store your call-back request after it's forwarded. Our hosting provider may briefly retain standard request logs as part of normal infrastructure operation; that's their infrastructure, not a database we search or use.

    Your choices

    • Reply STOP to any text to revoke consent, or tell the advisor directly — either works.
    • Reply HELP to any text for help, or contact the advisor directly.
    • Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.
    • Ask the advisor what number they have on file for you and to delete it; it's held in their system, not ours.

    Children

This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

    Changes to this policy

We may update this page as the site changes. The date at the top reflects the last time it changed in a way that matters.

    Terms of use

License numbers and other details shown for an advisor come from that advisor. We don't independently verify them — that's the entire point of sending you to your state's own lookup before you trust any of it.

Links to state and federal lookup tools go to those governments' own websites. We don't control them, can't vouch for their uptime or accuracy, and aren't responsible for what's on them.

This site doesn't provide insurance, financial, or legal advice, and using it doesn't create any advisory relationship between you and us. It's provided as-is, and you use your own judgment. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

    Contact

Email us with any question about this page or a request you submitted.

    We couldn't find that advisor.

The link may be mistyped, or that advisor isn't listed here. That on its own doesn't mean anything is wrong — most licensed agents aren't listed on this site. You can still check them with your state.
